The Police Association of South Australia (PASA) is an organisation that represents the professional and industrial interests of its members.
The Police Association's membership is drawn exclusively from sworn members at any rank of the South Australia Police (SAPOL) and numbers over 4400 police officers and police community constables. Membership of the police association is voluntary.
The Police Association of South Australia is affiliated with the Police Federation of Australia, the United Trades and Labour Council of South Australia and the Australian Council of Trade Unions.
The Association is registered pursuant to the Industrial Relations Act as a trade union. By its own rules the Police Association of South Australia is a non-sectarian and apolitical organisation.
